Since 2015, Forno Brisa has been bringing artisanal excellence to Bologna with bread, pizza, bean-to-bar chocolate, and sustainable coffee.
Over the years, we’ve turned dreams into reality and achieved significant milestones, but we’re still writing our story. There are many projects ahead, and our journey is far from over.
Our business is built on two essential pillars: our products and our people. Our goal is to offer high-quality products that create a positive impact for everyone involved in the supply chain, from producers and collaborators to end customers.
We have always strived to eliminate any kind of discrimination in the workplace, and in 2023 we achieved two important certifications: Great Place to Work and Gender Equality, demonstrating our ongoing effort to create a fairer, more inclusive, and respectful work environment for everyone.
Brisa Coffee Roasters was born at the end of 2020 from the passion of Forno Brisa’s baristas and their desire to further explore the complex coffee supply chain.
We select coffees that reflect our identity, favouring those that align with our company’s core values and are sustainable on ethical, nutritional, and economic levels. For this reason, we choose only organic coffees.
Our roastery is fully visible! Located within our historic venue on Via Galliera, it is an open-concept roastery with a 5 kg IMF machine just a few meters away from customers enjoying their coffee.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be an active part of the Brisa Coffee Roasters team!
- Participate in the selection of green coffee
- Roast coffee in our roastery
- Package and label the roasted coffee
- Prepare coffee for shipment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department’s organization
- Contribute daily to creating a positive and vibrant workplace atmosphere
We are looking for someone with:
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a coffee roaster and in the coffee industry
- Strong motivation and a sense of responsibility
- A desire to work with and for the team
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent technical skills
- Some knowledge of Italian
